Olympic Gold Stamps: Collection

As from Saturday (11th Aug) Team GB had won 28 Gold Medals. For each new Gold Medal Winners stamp I will be issuing a special first day cover - there will be no more than 100 complete collections.

These covers are printed on luxury textured linen paper and then individually hand made into envelopes - no other covers come close to this fine quality paper.

This option guarantees that you receive all covers (no matter how many Gold Medal Stamps are issued) for the FIXED sum of £300. Covers cost £20 each if ordered individually.  From Saturday (11th Aug) Team GB has 28 Golds: you will pay for 15 @ £20 and the rest will be free - i.e. currently 13 free covers (worth £260).

These covers will all be despatched by Insured Post ASAP in two batches.  The first 16 covers are all ready for immediate despatch.  The balance will be despatched by the end of August - much earlier if everything goes according to plan.  This second batch will also include the free set of five covers (see below) and a Certificate of Authenticity. 

IN ADDITION - FREE: Set of five Olympic Centenary FDCs worth £40 

This collection comes with a free set of five covers issued in 1996 to mark the centenary of the modern Olympics.  This is a unique collection in that each cover has been double postmarked in 2005 on the occasion of London being chosen to host the 2012 Olympics.  Each of these five covers feature the most popular GB Olympians from the twentieth century.  This collection alone currently retails at £40.  (If  you have already ordered the Gold Medal Collection you will also receive this free gift)
